Dock Holiday

The property is nice but older. The unit was very clean but was smaller then it looked in the pictures. The bed had to be pushed up against the wall on one side in order to fit in the small bedroom. The living area had a very small circular dinning table with two chairs and one small love seat. The unit did have A/C but it was a window unit in the bedroom area. While this unit was fine for me and my wife it may not work for other couples or for a longer stay, we stayed two nights and worked well for us.

Cute little condo with a private dock in a very cute little town with island vibes we enjoyed our trip and will stay here again next time we visit cedar key.

Nice to have a private dock on the tidal mudflats! Great birding from the dock and balcony. Easy walk to town with a few bars and restaurants. The cottage is cosy and well maintained. A/C is rather noisy but we got used to it! This is rather a unique spot in an unspoiled island 3 miles out into the gulf. There are great small nature reserves nearby as well as Indian shell mounds. We also trekked around the Shrub reserve on the mainland - also excellent. Cedar Key is a wonderful place!

Waterfront with dock. The water was too low to fish or have a boat.

Check-in was very quick and easy. Location walkable to all the restaurants and cute shopping. Be aware that the A/C unit is next to the bed so cold air will be blowing all night directly on the person who chooses to sleep on the that side of the bed. Fishing dock is private and very quiet. No night lighting down stairs or dock so bring your flashlight if going to star gaze. Overall- we were comfortable.
